To focus on Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS). To provide updated recommendations about prophylaxis and treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with gynecologic malignancies in order to reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality in our patient population.
Facilitate the coordination and alignment of endeavors involving diverse healthcare professionals dedicated to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of BRCA-related malignancies.
To create standardized treatment guidelines and national patient registries and biobanking, in an effort to advance knowledge

Develop evidence-based recommendations, standards and knowledge translation initiatives on topics that impact daily practice of Gynecologic Oncology; Maintain a multi-institution database to enable shared research projects and QI initiatives;

Position Statements
Our position statements express the opinions of GOC on a variety of topics or issues related to gynecologic oncology. They are all based on evidence, research, and expert consensus, and they aim to provide guidance, recommendations, and gynecologic oncology standards.
CA 125 Monitoring in the Management of Recurrent Ovarian Cancer
Results of a multi-institutional European trial comparing early treatment of relapsed ovarian cancer based on CA125 only versus delayed treatment based on conventional clinical indicators after completion of first line chemotherapy, was presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting (ASCO) on May 31st.
